Being part of the organization for TEDxZurich has been an incredibly rewarding experience. TED’s mission to spread inspiring ideas deeply resonates with us, making it a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful project. In 2024, we collaborated with numerous sponsors to bring TEDxZurich “Full Spectrum” to life in Switzerland’s largest city. My role encompassed overseeing art direction, digital marketing campaigns, and visual design, all while facing the unique challenges of executing a high-profile event on this scale.

This opportunity allowed us to not only push creative boundaries but also shape an experience that fostered meaningful connections during a time of isolation.

Role: Visual Designer – UI/UX Designer – Newsletters Lead

Responsibilities:
-
Create imagery for social media content and design across platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
- Collaborate with the team on visual communication strategies and content analysis, staging digital campaigns
-Art direction
-Develop the visual identity and branding of the event, positioning it for both local and international recognitionDigital marketing

What is about?

TEDxZurich’s "Full Spectrum" event celebrated diverse perspectives and stories shaping our world today. Our challenge was to visually represent this theme, drawing inspiration from Zurich’s architectural and cultural heritage.We blended modernist design elements with bold shapes and clean typography, symbolizing the innovation and clarity of the ideas shared on stage. The result was a visual identity that connected the theme of “Full Spectrum” with Zurich’s dynamic energy, highlighting the diversity and richness of the event.
For TEDxZurich's annual event, <<Full Spectrum>>, I embraced the role of Visual Designer + UI/UX driving the development of the event’s identity and branding.
From conceptualizing the overarching visual theme to ensuring consistency in execution, I crafted a cohesive experience that resonated with the audience. Alongside this, I supported and collaborate the design team, promoting team work  and aligning our efforts to successfully bring the event's vision to life across all touchpoints.

This experience was a testament to the power of creativity, collaboration, and purpose-driven work. I look forward to carrying these learnings into future endeavors, always striving to create experiences that inspire, challenge, and connect people in meaningful ways.

Outcome

The event successfully showcased a variety of perspectives, aligning with its theme of ‘Full Spectrum’—embracing complexity, diversity, and change. From technology to human emotions, from sustainability to personal growth, each talk contributed to a holistic understanding of our world today. The audience, both in-person and virtual, engaged deeply with the content, sparking discussions that extended far beyond the event itself.
